Restaurant website design in India

A customer decides on the walk over. They open Google, look at two listings, and pick the one that shows the menu, the price, and a way to book. The restaurant without a website loses that call, even if the biryani is better.

The menu card

Your menu, your prices,
not a screenshot of someone else's

The biggest mistake restaurant sites make is linking to a Swiggy or Zomato page the customer did not come to see. The menu belongs on the home page, with prices current to the day, and dietary tags for the people who check.

The menu card is rendered from the operator's own data. Send a PDF, a Swiggy link, a Google Doc, or photos of a paper menu. We rewrite it so the page is yours, then send you the change by WhatsApp when prices move.

Restaurant website questions

How much does a restaurant website cost in India?

A one-page restaurant site starts at ₹6,999. A 5-page site with menu, story, gallery, events and catering starts at ₹14,999. Multi-location or multilingual scopes start at ₹29,999.

Can you use our Swiggy, Zomato, PDF or printed menu?

Yes. A client-approved source can be turned into searchable text, categories, prices and dietary notes. The restaurant confirms final accuracy and publishing rights.

Can customers reserve through WhatsApp?

Yes. The button can prefill date, time, party size and occasion so the restaurant receives a useful request. Confirmation still follows the restaurant's availability process.

Is online ordering included?

Delivery-platform links and a simple payment link are different from full online ordering. Cart, kitchen workflow, delivery zones and order management need a separately scoped build.

How long does it take?

A one-page site usually takes 3 to 5 working days after the approved menu, photos and timings arrive. A 5-page site is normally planned for 7 working days.

What the page does

One page, three jobs:
book, order, or throw a party

A restaurant customer falls into one of three buckets the moment they open the site. The page surfaces all three in the first scroll, so no one leaves because they did not find the right button.

Table booking

For birthdays, anniversaries, date night, and team dinners. One button opens WhatsApp with date, time and headcount already typed.

  • Date, time, party size pre-filled
  • Special occasion notes (cake, candles, dietary)
  • Confirmation reply, usually in 12 minutes

Home delivery

For the regular who wants a Tuesday-night thali. The site shows delivery radius, fee threshold, and links to Swiggy and Zomato in one place.

  • Delivery radius and minimum order
  • Free-delivery threshold for the area
  • Swiggy and Zomato deep links
Order by WhatsApp

Party and catering

For weddings, corporate lunches, and 50-plate orders. The enquiry form asks the right questions so the operator does not have to chase.

  • Event date, guest count, location
  • Veg or non-veg split, budget band
  • One reply with a written quote

The room

Photos of your space,
not a stock kitchen

Customers want to see where they will sit. Four real photos of the dining room, the counter, a signature dish, and the team work better than twenty food-porn shots. The site loads them fast because they are sized for a phone, not a billboard.

On the real site, every photo is a slot the operator can replace from their phone. We size and crop to a 1:1 grid so the layout never breaks when you swap a photo.

What diners check first

The five questions before
they book a table

A Google listing handles two of these. The website handles all five, and the table is the one that brings the customer in.

What a restaurant website answers

  • What's on the menu, with prices current to the day, and veg or non-veg tags
  • When the room is open, when the kitchen closes, and the last order time
  • Where you sit — parking, AC, family section, rooftop, the layout a regular wants
  • What it costs for a meal, a party of 10, or a corporate lunch, with sample prices
  • How to book in one WhatsApp message, with the date, time and headcount pre-filled

What a Maps listing answers

  • Name, address, two lines of business hours
  • A handful of reviews, often old
  • Two or three photos the operator uploaded years ago
  • A Call button that connects to a busy line
  • No way to send an enquiry for a party of 12 next Saturday
